Our Process

Kim Hing Food Industries has a long history of in research and development (R&D) and manufacturing of its specialty product, bottled birds’ nest. Quality birds’ nests imported from Indonesia and Malaysia will have their feathers separated from the edible content by stringent cleansing processes before they are delivered to Singapore. Upon arriving in our factory, these birds’ nests further undergo a series of cleansing to ensure that they are completely free of impurities. 

 

The birds’ nest are then cooked and hermetically sealed with vacuum technology .They are hygienically sterilised by heat treatment process. No artificial preservatives, colouring or flavouring is added. The original flavours and nutrients of the traditionally prepared bird’s nests are retained.

 

Besides birds’ nest, Kim Hing Food Industries also develops premium food products such as braised abalone, Pen Cai (盆菜) and many more using the same stringent standards of sourcing for high quality raw materials ,cleansing and preparation with our recipes .They are bottled or retort packed , hermetically sealed with vacuum technology and hygienically sterilised by heat treatment process. Just as bottled birds’ nest ,no artificial preservatives, colouring or flavouring is added, and the ready-to-eat delicacies maintains their original flavours and nutirients.

 

Kim Hing Food Industries is able to bottle or retort pack food products for OEM customers or develop the product for customers upon request. Our in-house chefs have years of experience in Chinese cuisine , thus customers can be assured of taste and quality.  The same quality standards is applied to all food products ,thus customers can be assured that the final product maintains the texture and quality as it was just cooked, is safe and hygienic and has a longer shelf life.
